The transporters in Upper Dir have demanded the National Highway Authority (NHA) to remove the cats eyes breakers on the main Dir-Peshawar road in the limits of Dir Town as its posing serious life threats to the motorists and motorcyclists here on Monday. The transporters included Gul Zamin, Masood Khan, Salman Hussain and others told that the steal nails damaging tyres of their vehicles which resulting sometimes fatal accidents.

They said that the road in Dir town is already very narrow while the cat eyes breakers had made it so difficult for them. They said that there are two cat eyes line breakers fixed with the road with no robbers.They demanded the NHA authorities to remove cat eyes breakers and draw clear paints lines while also make safety fences on the dangerous spots on the main road to find control over fatal accident.
